Also known as Blowfish, Bullseye Pufferfish, Common Puffer, Gulf Puffer, Pufferfish, Swellfish, Swelltoad, Toadfish.
Found singly, or in schools, over soft bottoms, of coral and rocky reefs.
They feed on insects, crustaceans, and small fish.
Juveniles found in estuaries.

Depth - 10-60m

The bodies of Pufferfish are covered in a toxic mucus, if the skin or flesh is consumed it can be fatal to humans.
