Description

Also known as Brown Shore Goby, Gudgeon, Reef Goby.

Found close to their burrow, which they share with Alpheid Shrimps, in shallow waters, over gravel and sandy bottoms, in both freshwater, and marine habitats, of estuaries, mangroves, rivers and shorelines.
They feed on algae, benthic fish and invertebrates.

Depth - 0-10m
Widespread Indo-West Pacific

These gobies are found in both freshwater and marine habitats.
