Description

Also known as Boer's Batfish.

Found singly or in large schools, along drop-off's, of coastal and outer reefs.
They feed on small fish, invertebrates, jellyfish, and zooplankton.
Juveniles found amongst coral formations, along deep slopes.
Length - 40cm
Depth - 1-50m
Widespread Indo-West Pacific

Batfish have a flattened profile, juvenile batfish are extremely tall finned, but as they grow they become more rounded.
