Also known as Blue-striped Sea Chub, Drummer, Rainbow Chub, Rudderfish.

Found singly, or in schools, often with other chubs, around bommies, drop-off's, rocky shores, and walls, as well as out in the open ocean.
They feed on algae and zooplankton.
Length - 40cm
Depth - 1-20m
Widespread Eastern Pacific
