Found singly or in pairs, over channels, clear lagoons and protected outer reef slopes, rich in coral growth.
They feed on sponges and tunicates.
Length - 28cm
Depth - 3-40m
Widespread Indo Pacific

Angelfish are usually brightly coloured with highly compressed bodies.
