Description
Also known as Blue-spotted Seaperch, Maori Bream, Maori Seaperch, Maori Snapper, Multi-coloured Snapper, Scribbled Snapper, Speckled Snapper, Yellowfin Snapper.
Found singly or in small schools, over shallow inshore reef flats and deep coastal slopes of coral and rocky reefs.
They feed on cephalopods, benthic crustaceans and fish.
Juveniles over shallow reef flats rich in algae growth.

Depth - 50-100m
Widespread Indo-Pacific
Most Snappers live in moderate depths, however there are a few that live much deeper. Juveniles found on inshore reefs.
They are nocturnal predators that mainly feed on fish, but will eat crustaceans, gastropods and cephalopods.

Yes I think you are right, with the grooves under the eye it could be Lutjanus bohar. What do you think?
Sorry to say, but I still think that the first shots(mine), are a different fish. I have seen Lutjanus rivulatus often, but always with a dark bar above pectoral fin, and yellowish fins. Pls. do send comment.
