Also known as Black-eyed Goby, Bluespot Goby, Crested Goby, Gudgeon, Large-scaled Goby, True Goby.

Found in harems, on sandy bottoms, close to holes and rocks for shelter, over shallow, to deep areas of the reef.
They feed on crustaceans and molluscs.

Depth - 0-106m
Widespread Eastern Pacific
