Description

Also known as Black Sea Barbel, White Barbel.

Found in shallow water, coastal reefs.
They feed on benthic invertebrates and worms.
Length - 45cm
Depth - ?m
Southeast Atlantic - Namibia, South Africa

These are mainly seawater catfish.
Some of these catfish have venomous spines in the fins which can inflict painful wounds.
