Also known as Bicolor Toby, Pufferfish, Sharpnose Pufferfish, Smith's Pufferfish, Smith's Sharpnose Puffer, Toby.

Found singly, over mixed boulders and rubble areas, at the base of steep slopes, in clear, inner and outer reefs.
They feed on algae and benthic invertebrates.
Length - 13cm
Depth - 3-40m
Widespread Western Indian Ocean

The bodies of Pufferfish are covered in a toxic mucus, if the skin or flesh is consumed it can be fatal to humans.
