Also known as Barred Conger.
Found singly, buried in the sand of lagoons and seaward reefs.
They feed nocturnally on crustaceans and small fish.
Length - 60cm
Depth - 2-50m
Widespread Indo-Pacific
Conger Eels are from the family of garden eels but much larger and usually found singly buried in the sand.
