Description

Also known as Bigfin Mudhopper, Brown Mudskipper, Mudhopper, Mudskipper, Mudskipper Goby, Silverline Mudskipper, Silver-lined Mudskipper, Silverstripe Mudskipper.

Found singly, or in schools, zipping about over mud, rubble, and sandy areas of mangroves, and in rock-pools, of the intertidal shoreline, also in freshwater streams. These are air breathing gobies.
They feed on tiny crustaceans, insects, and worms.
