Also known as Apple Tun, Grinning Tun, Pacific Grinning Tun, Tun Shells.

Found over fine sandy bottoms.
They feed on sea cucumbers.
Length - 8cm
Depth - 5-30m
Widespread Western Central Atlantic, Indo Pacific

These are a small family, their large shells have a distinct spiral.
They feed on sea cucumbers by sucking the food in with their large proboscis.
