According to fishbase.org only two Stegastes species are currently reported from Egypt: S. nigricans and S.punctatus, S.fasciolatus is found in the eastern (and northern - Maldives) parts of the Indian ocean. The yellow stripe isn't alsways there: http://www.reeflex.net/tiere/3807_Stegastes_nigricans.htm, there're also similar photos on fishbase.org.
@Alyona Thank you! I just looked it up and found that they are supposed to have a yellow stripe on the side. But then I also found the "Stegastes fasciolatus" - which seems to fit pretty well :)
Please enter some search params to find your fish! Keywords, names or nicknames should all work!
Alternatively, if you have NO IDEA what it is, click the green button to mark as unidentified.
