Description

Also known as Coral Bream, Doubleblotch Spinecheek, Spinecheek, Whiptail.

Found singly or in loose schools, over mud and sandy bottoms close to reefs and around in-shore waters.
They feed on crustaceans, echinoderms, fish and molluscs.
Length - 30cm
Depth - 3-60m
Widespread Indian ocean
