Description

Also known as Obscure Pipefish, Pale-blotched Pipefish, Twospine Pipefish.

Found singly or in pairs, in coral and rocky habitats, of lagoons and seaward reefs, from surf zones to deeper waters.
They feed by sucking tiny invertebrates into their mouths.
Length - 8.7cm
Depth - 5-40m
Widespread Indo-Pacific

Pipefish are like seahorses in that the male gives birth!
