Description

Also known as Betta, Crowntail, Halfmoon, Siamese Fightingfish.

Found in standing water of canals, floodplains, rice paddies and rivers.
They feed on insect larvae, mosquito larvae and zooplankton.

Asia - Mekong basin.

Males will fight each other if put together, hence the name.
