Description

Also known as Tunicates, Sea Squirts, Colonial Ascidians, Compound Ascidians.

Found on coral and rocky reefs on walls and drop off's.
They feed on plankton and detritus.
Depth - 8-30m
Widespread Indo-Pacific

During the summer this very pretty ascidian grows in small patches over the reef. (edit)
