Description

Also known as Caribbean Reef Goby, Crystal Goby, Glass Goby, Gudgeon, Reef Goby, Striped Goby.

Found in schools, close to columns and heads of live corals, hovering above bottoms of caves and in shaded areas of the reefs.
They feed on plankton.
Length - 4cm
Depth - 3-46m
Widespread Western Central Atlantic, Caribbean

Difficult to distinguish this goby and the Coryphopterus hyalinus under water!
