Caption: This cowfish was quite large, almost two feet long. Photo taken at about 30 feet, during a night dive.

Description
Also know as Lactoria conuta, Longhorned Cowfish, Horned Boxfish, Trunkfish and Horned Trunkfish.
Found singly on sand and mud bottoms of lagoons and seaward reefs.
They feed on invertebrates and worms.
Length - 50cm
Depth - 1-50m
Widespread Indo-Pacific
The bodies of Boxfish are covered in a toxic mucus which can be released when stressed.
