Description

Also known as Atlantic John Dory, Doorkeeper's Fish, Girti, St. Peter's Fish, St. Pierre.

Found singly, close to the seabed, often in deep waters of the continental shelf.
They feed on cephalopods, crustaceans, but mainly on schooling bony fish.
