Description
Also known as Cubbyu, Donkeyfish, Hardhead, Highhat Drum, Jackknife, Ribbonfish, Streaked Ribbonfish, Striped Drum, Striped Ribbonfish, Swordfish.
Found in pairs, or small schools, over rough bottoms, and edges, of eroded seagrass beds, close to coral reefs, in bays and around tropical islands. Front Dorsal Fin becomes smaller with age.
They feed on benthic crustaceans and fish.
