Description

Also known as Bream, Large-eye Bream, Orangefin Emperor, Orange-finned Emperor, Pigface Bream, Yellowfin Emperor, Yellow-spotted Emperor.

Found singly, during the day close to caves and ledges, out at night foraging for food, over soft bottom channels and outer reef slopes, of lagoons and outer reefs.
They feed on crustaceans, invertebrates, molluscs, and sea stars.

Depth - 15-120m
