Description

Also known as Fierce Shrimpgoby, Pale Shrimpgoby, Partner Goby, Sand Goby, Sand Shrimpgoby, Sandy Partner Goby, Sandy Shrimpgoby, Shrimp Goby.

Found singly or in pairs sharing their burrows with Alpheid shrimps over rubble and sandy bottoms of clear coastal inner reef flats and slopes.
They feed on small benthic invertebrates.
Length - 7.5cm
Depth - 1-20m
Widespread Indo-West Pacific

Shrimp Gobies live a symbiotic relationship with snapping shrimps.
