I saw many of these both in the open ocean around the Intercontinental Tahiti, and in their Lagoonarium (man-made, living coral reef with fish, supplied with seawater but protected from predators). They were QUITE aggressive, and did not like to be followed with a camera. This guy was only about 8" to 10", but after I followed at a distance trying to get a good photo, he actually turned and *charged* me! Would love to know what it is. Maybe one of the many species of parrot fish we see in French Polynesia?
