Description
Also known as Broad Mojarra, Broad Shad, Dark-barred Mojarra, Gray Mojarra, Haddow, Hedow, Mojarra Blanca, Pursemouth, Shad, Silver Perch, Silverbelly, Silverbiddy.
Found singly or in small schools, over shallow, open sand and surf areas, mangrove channels, and seagrass beds, of shallow coastal reefs.
They feed on insects and benthic invertebrates.
