Description
Also known as Blackspot Cardinalfish, Earblotch Cardinalfish, Ear-blotched Cardinalfish, Nurseryfish.
Found in schools during the day hovering and sheltering around Acropora corals in caves and crevices, dispersing at night to forage for food over coastal bays and lagoons.
They feed on benthic crustaceans, small fish and zooplankton.
