Found hiding under rocks and stones, over rock, sand, silt and weedy bottoms, on intertidal and deeper waters of coral and rocky reefs.
They feed on detritus and plankton.
Length - 8cm
Depth - 5-50m
Widespread Indo-Pacific

Brachyura crabs are considered true crabs, they have a short abdomen, 4 walking legs and a pair of clawed arms at the front.
