Description

Also known as Spinefoots, Fine-spotted Spinefoot, Peppered Rabbitfish and Peppered Spinefoot.

Found in pairs in lagoons and along reef slopes.
They feed on algae, seagrass and weeds.
Length - 28cm
Depth - 3-30m
Widespread West Pacific

Rabbitfish are usually found in algae rich reefs.
They have venomous spines in the Anal Fin and at both ends of the ventral fin. These can inflict extremely painful injuries.
