Also known as Cuttlefish, Pygmy Cuttlefish, Pygmy Squid, Stumpy Cuttlefish, Stumpy-spined Cuttlefish.

Found walking, rather than swimming, over sandy areas, often in association with sea cucumbers and sea stars, in shallow lagoons and coastal coral waters.
They feed nocturnally on crustaceans.

Depth - 3-25m
Widespread Western Pacific
