Description
Also known as Caribbean Chimaera, Caribbean Ghost Shark, Cuban Chimaera, Cuban Ratfish, Elephantfish, Ghost Shark.
Found singly in very deep waters. Their Dorsal spine has a venomous gland.
They feed on small fish and benthic invertebrates.

Widespread Western Central Atlantic
