Description

Also known as Spinecheeks, Monocle Bream, Two-line Monocle Bream, Two-lined Monocle Bream, Thumbprint Monocle Bream, Threadfin Bream, Whiptail Bream, Bridled Spinecheek, Two-line Spinecheek, Two-spine Spinecheek, Yellowfin Spinecheek and Yellow-finned Spinecheek.

Found singly, pairs or in small groups on shallow clear lagoons and protected reefs.
Juveniles found singly.
Juveniles in Fiji and Tonga entirely yellow!
They feed on worms and small creatures.
Length - 20cm
Depth - 2-30m
Widespread Indo-Pacific

Coral Breams have excellent eyesight and are usually found close to the bottom looking for prey with a stop start movement.
