Also known as Blue Ring Sea Squirt, Blue Tunicate, Bluebell Sea Squirt, Colonial Ascidian, Compound Ascidian, Little Bottle, Sea Squirt, Tunicate, Yellow Ring Sea Squirt.

Found in colonies attached to the substrate of sheltered reef flats and slopes.
They feed on suspended detritus and plankton.
Length - 4cm
Depth - 1-20m
Widespread Indo-Pacific

Ascidian, also known as tunicates because their bodies are covered by a "tunic" a tough cellulose-like covering.
The other common name is sea squirt because when threatened they sometimes eject a jet of water. Ref: x
