Description

Also known as Azure Damsel, Azure Damselfish, Bicolor Damsel, Blue Damselfish, Half-blue Damselfish, Half-blue Demoiselle, Yellow-dipped Damsel, Yellow-tailed Damsel.

Found in small schools, sheltering in branches of Acropora corals, over lagoons and fringing reefs.
They feed on plankton.

Depth - 1-38m
Widespread Indo-West Pacific

Damselfish are egg layers.
