Also known as Trevallies, Amberfishes, Amberjack, Highfin Amberjack, Longfin Yellowtail, Pacific Yellowtail, Longfin Kingfish and Yellow Kingfish.
Found in small schools when it visits reefs or deep lagoons, otherwise on outer reefs.
They feed on other fish and sometimes large zooplankton creatures.

Depth - 5-160m
Widespread Circumtropical
Jacks are fast swimming fish that can roam over great distances. The larger fish hunt other fish and the smaller fish eat zooplankton. In turn they are hunted by large Tuna and Dolphins. (edit)
