Description

Also known as Black-tipped Fusilier, Goldenband Fusilier, Yellowband Fusilier, Yellowstripe Fusilier.

Found in schools, feeding midwater over coral and rocky reefs. Varies in colour, from blue to red with night and day.
They feed on zooplankton.

Depth - 2-35m
Widespread Indo-West Pacific

Fusiliers are close relatives of snappers, but are much smaller and more slender.
Schools of fusiliers often have other species mixed in.
